Do you deliver every image you shoot?

No. During our processing of the images, we get rid of the photos that are test shots, out of focus, or not flattering. We only deliver to you the best photos from your shoot which can range from 25 frames to 300 or more depending on your session.

Do you travel for services?
​
Yes. While WSIV is based out of Atlanta, we serve clients all around the world. Our travel photography and videography packages include the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations. For more details please contact us by clicking here

Why do you charge travel fees?
​
The primary purpose is to provide adequate compensation for the additional time spent in travel. Trips to Los Angeles, for example, can take over an 3hours each way. This is time for which we have to compensate our team. For this reason, coupled with the costs of reimbursing the team for the actual costs of travel, these fees are unfortunately necessary.

Is Wayne the only photographer at Wayne Shot It Visuals?

As of now, yes. But we are looking for more talent and welcome anyone who may be interested in working with WSIV. If that may be you or someone you know, please contact us we'd love discuss the next steps to joining our team.

Do you provide full day photography services?
​
Yes. We off both full day and half day services.

Do you shoot in JPEG or RAW?
​
We shoot in both JPEG and RAW depending on the session. For portraits and headshots we shoot in RAW, while for events and private engagements we shoot in JPEG.

Do you shoot Quinceaneras, Debutants, Bah Mitzvahs or Corporate Events?

What kind of photography and videography do you do?
​

What is your photography/videography style?
​
I am a storyteller. I always try to tell a story within a frame. Whether its a photograph, or a 10 second snippet, a commercial, or a short film; there is always a story to be told. That is what we focus on at WSIV. Bringing our clients vision to life through our creative storytelling skills with a camera.

The venue for my event is very dark. How do you handle these situations and can I see samples?

We have shot is some fo the darkest venues and halls so no need tot worry. If the situation allows, we will set up additional lighting to ensure we get properly exposed and focused pictures. Some venues do not allow for flash photography; and for that reason, we shoot on camera’s with superb low-light performance and lenses with low apertures to ensure quality in low light situations. Do you edit all of the images from the shoot?
​
No, but we do offer complimentary retouches upon booking. Refer to the booking details of your session to see how many edits come with your shoot along with standard retouching rates.

When and where can I view my pictures?
​
There will be a link to the photos sent out by the contracted date for you to view, download, and share via Adobe Lightroom.

Do you back up my images? How can I ensure that my images won’t be lost?
​
We have never lost an image from a shoot due to the following backup workflow for each our events. After the shoot we copy the photos to an offsite hard drive where they are archived after processing.

What do you mean by retouch?
​
Retouching is advance editing such as skin repair/enhancement, body alterations, alter ego, etc.

How many hours do you suggest I set aside for a photoshoot or video shoot?
​
Each project is unique so each varies in time to execute the vision. Details for each shoot can be found in the Booking details where you decide which package works best for you. Feel free to contact us for any further questions in regards to time management.

What happens if I go over the contracted amount of time?
​
We understand that not everything always goes as planned in life. We never pack up before the contracted time, and moreover, we’re not leaving on the dot when the contracted time is up. Instead, we will ask you at the end of your contracted time whether or not you would like to extend. If you would like us to stay, we will charge the rates specified in your contract rounded to the closest 30-minute increment.

When can I expect to see my photos from the photoshoot?
​
Post-production turnaround times for photography sessions are listed in the details sections of the photoshoot upon booking (typically 7-10 business days). If you require the images to be completed prior to the specified date, a rush process fee will be charged.

I'm not sure which session best supports my vision, do you offer consultation?
​
Yes, you can email us to set up a phone consultation at your convenience. We are more than glad to help guide you in the best direction to bring your vision to life.

How many images do you typically deliver from a session?
​
It varies. You can find out an estimate of how many image to be delivered in the details sections upon booking. Keep in mind these numbers may increase or decrease depending on the flow of the day and the number of events/activities needing to be captured.

Do you offer any discounts?
​
Yes, we offer a referral discount. If you refer our services to someone, you will receive a discount upon them booking their shoot. We also have year round specials surrounding holidays and season changes. View our Booking Online page to see our current active specials.

What size can we print our photos up to with our full resolution image download?
​
In most cases, you can print your photos up to 20×30 without any quality loss. If you’d like to print larger than 20×30, additional post-production will be required. For pricing on these services, please contact us.

What rights do I have to the digital prints?
​
You have the right to reprint images whenever you want and use them for social media. However, you may not sell or promote your images for profit, or publish your images without the written consent of Wayne Shot It Visuals LLC.

What if I lose my images?
​
There is a $100 replacement charge for additional downloads after the event has been archived. We strongly suggest you make at least one copy of the download when you receive it from us.

What type of camera/equipment do you use?
​
For both photography and videography we use a Canon 5D Mark III.
Lenses: Canon L series 70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM Telephoto, Sigma Art 24-35mm F2.0 Wide Angle Zoom, and Canon 50mm F1.8 STM.

How do I book you for my date?

All dates are booked once we receive your signed contract and deposit.

If I cancel the shoot, will I receive my deposit back?
​
Unfortunately no. Deposits are used to reserve your date. Once we’ve reserved your date, we do not accept new clients for your date.

If we change our shoot to a different date, will I be able to use my deposit towards a future date?
​
Generally no, but this is taken on a case by case basis. The reason for canceling and our availability is taken into account. Also, if rates change from your original date to your new date, the new rates will apply.

Do you accept cash payment?​
​
Yes, we can arrange a meeting for a cash payment, however there is a fee for time travel to and from the meetup location.
